CURRICULUM

The School is affiliated to CBSE, the most widely recognized Board of Education in India and abroad too. CBSE gives broad-based guidelines about the curriculum to be followed with regard to both curricular and co-curricular activities. The curriculum enables the students to compete both at national and international levels.

Our school follows the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern which envisions the holistic development of the learner. It includes the evaluation of the learner over the entire academic year, of not only the scholastic areas but also life skills, Attitudes, values, interests and achievements in co-scholastic activities inside and outside school which reflects the complete personality of the learner. Thus CCE is no longer a separate activity, it has become an integral part of Teaching-Learning Process.

The academic year is divided into two terms. Each term includes two Formative Assessments (FA) and one Summative Assessment (SA).

Formative Assessment involves continuous monitoring of student’s progress by the teacher in a supportive and informal environment. It includes:

Summative Assessment

Summative Assessment is carried out at the end of each term through which all important concepts are tested. It includes Summative Assessment SA 1 (Half Yearly Examination) and SA 2 (Final Examination).

A report card of the student’s progress will be issued at the end of each Term. The report card also includes assessment by the teachers on personality traits. An overview of a student’s special achievements during term are also mentioned.

This Evaluation System inculcates regularity in studies throughout the year while also allowing students to express their individuality.

The school has been successfully giving 100% result in the Board Examinations.
